CT star base generator is ready! 1.0a

well for now i'm gonna NIX the gov/law part
and let the user come up with thier own numbers
in YTU...

the trade codes are done but its not looking very good to me at the moment, feedback will help...

basically if you have one thing you dont have the other using the criteria you mentioned above...

so if Ri....not Po
if In.......not Ni
if staterooms < 1000 then .....Lo
if In.......then not Ag
if Ni.......then Ag and also NOT CLASS A,B,C

and vesa versa...

i think if you go over the yahoo group
you'll find some of those random
generators you want already there
i think JIMV made most or alot fo those
i seem to remember he made a cargo
generator...

small craft i'm not sure what you are wanting for
that...

In future releases you could include the LBB random encounter generator to generate say, four random encounters for fun. Or a bit that would randomly select 2D starships from the classic list that are either coming or going.

3. 400T patrol cruiser
4. 100T courier
5. 1000T bulk carrier

what i could do is add 1 more line
labeled:

in orbit
in near orbit
or berthed...and have 2-3 ships listed,
also depending on number of berths the
base has available...

my program SHEN also makes CT ships
that could be included too if you want:

PLUS i allow shipyard-manuver...i dropped
it to 30k+ tons too as i was getting more
35-45k tons even with CLASS A's

RI = income > (4 * expense) similiar to your criteria
i changed it to 4 as 3 was not enough
even a X CLass with a very low pop was
rich...well actually everything
was coming up rich 99.9999% of the time...

if you go much above (pop > 900m) you'll
generally NOT get (Lo)....so far anyways
without being CLASS D,E,X its hard to get
stateroom < 1000

I get an error trying to run the programme. It says something like: this program is unsuitable to run on DOS or windows applications.

did you read the readme on installing it?

the program is made with qbasic
which is a DOS/WIN98 based program...

etc...

That looks good.

Trade codes are for the planet below and I like the ships “hanging around” the area. Afer a dozen or so tests it looks good. You could call it done.
