CT star base generator is ready! 1.0a

so your looking for a sepereate section that allows more user input? were there other things it could have? missing? incorrect?
Yes on user input and the sensors give me pause. Are the sensors done to a Traveller standard? FFS, MT, TNE (etc. . . .)?

making graphics for qbasic is very LONG....
Graphics are eye candy. If they don’t assist game play then forget about them.

no those were just an idea i had for some
type of measurement based on AU's...

CT wasnt very clear on it and i dont
have FFS MT or TNE...

i assumed class A starbases would be able
to broadcast and detect a whole solar system
based on earths solar system of 38+ AU's
to Pluto, class B a little less, class C
alot less and D E and X very small 7 AU's or so..

if someone has a chart they can post for me
i'll consider those alternative 'verses for
the criteria..

83' Starter Edition Traveller lists the detection range of non military ships out to ½ light second. Military sensors out to 1 light second and once a sensor lock has been established it can be tracked out to 3 light seconds.

MT I don’t have

The only nit so far is that all military bases need at least “X” number of missile turrets. I generated a naval base with no missile turrets.

CT missiles have been done. If you want to know the gist of it PM me.

okay how about this:

lets say a base gets 200 turrets
if i divide that into 1/2 missles
and 1/2 beam/pulse/sand would that
be kosher?

so the listing would look like:

Turrets: 100 Type: (B,S) 100 (M,M) Missles: XXXX

and i can make it varible as 1 2 or 3 turret also.

Half may be a bit much but it is a personal call. Well, on second thought missiles are longer range and if you are a big orbiting target you want that range.

Personally I would want at least 20%.
For the purposes of the generator I would make them just as likely as any other kind of armament with a minimum of one triple turret.

how about this...

i divide bridge tonage by 5....then divide
by 1/4(.25ls)...gives you X LS of range?

so 220 / 4 1/4(.25LS) = 55 LS range

55 LS = 13.2 million miles range...

not very far at all...but kosher?
