Is there a standard value in Traveller for the volume of consumables per crew member per week? I'm working on scout cruiser design in TNE FF&S and I am trying to figure out how much cargo I need per crew member per week so I can calculate endurance.

There might have been some mention in a CT adventure, I don't recall where or what though.

You could figure it out from the listed ration sizes, that's how I first did it.

T20 came up with 1ton of life support stores being 20 person months. That includes air recycling, food, water, waste recycling, and (non-food) consumable supplies.

EDIT:

FF&S2 covers this.

D'oh! ;) Didn't even think of that. I only have FF&S1 and didn't recall it being there (maybe cause it isn't?).

Szurkey, I don't know of any standard values except one recommended to me in another thread.

This quote has the reference provided by Aramis:
Man-Days per DTon and given in Best of JTAS 1, p30: 2000 Person-Days per DTon, KCr50 per DTon. that's 6.75L per man-day; lists as "Food and consumables."

FF&S2 also has stats; I don't have mine accessible.

But that didn't help me because I don't have that issue of JTAS or FF&S2. This post shows what I figured out for the supplies needed by a marine battalion in case it is of use for you: http://www.travellerrpg.com/CotI/Discuss/showthread.php?p=363679#poststop

What is FF&S2?

Fire Fusion & Steel 2nd Edition

FF&S aka FF&S1 is for TNE.
FF&S2 is for T4

FF&S2 is backwards compatible with TNE's FF&S1, but added a lot of additional stuff, too. (as well as being poorly formatted, mangled due to non-standard encodings, and having general layout issues, as well.)
