I believe it is referred to as the Starburst for Extreme Heroism or SEH class in other places.I have compiled a list of 583 CT ships from all sources and the Gionetti is only mentioned in Fighting Ships.
The wiki entry of the Gionetti has a reference to Arrival Vengeance and the metadata speaks of an MT design and has a reference to Rebellion Sourcebook. (It points out the canon problem that the two designs are pretty different due to the differences between HG and MT ship design).I find no mentions of "SEH" or "Starburst".
My list is from published sources. Maybe there's something in the fandom world somewhere?
Ah, yes. I haven't put together a list of MT ships, so it's probably mentioned in those sources. The wiki entry of the Gionetti has a reference to Arrival Vengeance and the metadata speaks of an MT design and has a reference to Rebellion Sourcebook. I haven't chased down the references.

I hadn't noticed the CT qualification. As the OP posted in the Fleet rather than the Classic Traveller forum, I simply assumed he was interested in all available information.Ah, yes. I haven't put together a list of MT ships, so it's probably mentioned in those sources.

That is a significant piece of research, have you published the list anywhere?
Or they are supposed to be the same class. I find it hard to credit that the IN would have one class named for postumous recipients of the SEH and another class named for (presumably non-posthumous) recipients of the SEH.It's named for recipients of the SEH
Possibly there's an overlap since both are similar displacements. If you were to try and reconcile the two I'd say the Gionetti grew out of the Starburst as a light cruiser capable of command and control for quick reaction forces.
This is a massive step up from the smaller vessels. Are you doing a one sheet or detailed? Either way, impressive project.
