High Guard Tech Level Extensions

I came across some design guidelines by Leroy Guatney with suggested extensions for hi tech ships.

Something that I've not understood is the note about powerplants. It seems to suggest that all TL 17+ powerplants displace 1 ton, regardless of output, since nothing is mentioned about the Pn factor.

I'm probably being dense, but I'm sure someone here has figured this one out.

Are there other high tech extensions people are aware of ?

MT, TNE, T4, and T20 all place limits on antimatter power output.

They are much higher than fusion power plants though
 
Do you consider DGP's Grand Census as CT evidence? ;)

Does the unlimited PP thing comes from the antimatter battery in Twilight's Peak?
 
Sigg, if I don't have it, it can't be evidence, now can it? ;) I don't remember where the unlimited PP bit came from, and I don't have the time to look it up right this minute, but it wasn't an adventure.
 
I did some guesswork with that antimatter brick from Twilight's Peak, and figured it had enough juice to power a small starship for decades at least, and up to 100 years or so.

I don't think I had much data to go on, though...
 
What about organic or semi-organic hulls? The greatest question here is, IMHO, which kind of benefits such an armor would give under HG - auto-haeling hull breaches, perhaps? Optical (and IR?) camophlage?
