I voted for gray, but the color isn't as important to my mental image as the cut and other features.
I imagine the uniforms as coveralls with insignia patches and ball caps.
Lots of pockets. The tops can be detached from the bottoms so you can make potty without stripping your upper body.

THe only thing missing from the Italian police of 5620 is the MP brassard in both Anglic and Bilandin.

I think the Terran Navy wore blue and that should shape the traditions of both the Sylvians and The Solomani. For their dress uniforms both Whites and Blues. The Terrian navy traditional would also have winter vs summer vs tropicals tollowing the traditions of most of thd major powers that shaped the Terran fleet.
I always kind of pictured SolSec wearing Mao suits of some sort. Call me crazy.
I always envisage them in US Civil War Era navy uniforms. High falling collars, double breasted, usually buttoned up to the collar-line, tails for officers, but in Navy Blue, not the medium indigo used then...

Dealing with SolSec is a hot potato, and pretty much depends on the tack you want to take as to how the Confederation functions and what role you want SolSec to play within it.
