Looking at starship software vs. Computers.

I know I had some of the same questions as this thread. I didnt see that about jumping...You'd think the computer would get some basic programs" as free.

Yeah. I mean, if the PCs ever do manage to afford a starshpi, making them pay for all that software (Jump programs particularly are insanely expensive) is just rubbing salt in the wound.

Well..I was just wondering if the ships computer could even run some of the the programs...but I found the answer here:
