I'm a CT man, though I have enjoyed both MT and T20 to a lesser extent, but the more I think about it I find myself looking fwd to T5. Why? I hear you say. Simply because, as has been said on these forums, Find a version that suits you as a base and then add the best bits of the others ideas to your game. What! I hear you say? Bear with me a moment.
Let me postulate an example. I'm looking forward to Sophonts in T% because I would like to see characters not unlike Rommie in Andromeda. If you can imagine Intelligent AI's with shipboard (and other location) avatars. Hmm...That sounds like a half decent idea for a new century Game. To see it work well...well I think that is entirely possible, as long as you except that tweaking the rules occasionally is OK.
So. I'm looking forward to T5. I want to see the chance of intellgent ships or avatars. why not? What are the chances then that you can bring more things into your game through the addition of new material. I think we all should look at it and welcome the chance to broaden our horizons, rather than seeing it as a complication. If you don't like some bits, don't use 'em. But hey, bring on the bits that really stand out!
Roll on T5!
