Yeah, plank, but its a game that has some really crotchety old heads playing it.... Right, Bill? (As a matter of fact, I believe elsewhere we coined a new acronym for it: A COOT - Another Cranky Old Obdurate Traveller!)

M-drive stuff is probably the most stretchy suspender holding up everyone's pants of disbelief in this game. For that you have to wander about here, figure out which way you want to do it IYTU, and never argue it again.

Nah, messing with physics is fun. Our model of the universe is most likely wrong anyway. In two hundred years time they are going to be sitting in the lounge at Stuffy University and laughing at all this stuff while they work on that Jump 3 drive that was “impossible” just a century ago.

What I find most hard to believe is the lack of really alien, aliens like the Hivers. I do however have disbelief suspenders made out of bonded superdense cables and I keep em nice and tight.

BTW the maneuver drives can be explained very simply.

It is the throttle handle on the bridge marked “Maneuver Drives”
