I'd ordered the T5 referee shirt when the email first came out this fall. I got the shirt yesterday along with a 100Cr bill and a page-sized map of the Spinward Marches as an added bonus. Pretty sweet. ;)

I'd hold that bill up to the light and check for a watermark as well as the hologram band.

It might be a fake!

They're everywhere nowadays. Solomani printing up trillions of Cr right now and flooding the border systems.

Take a look in the back of The Traveller Adventure (GDW version)

Spoiler:
Imperial credits are almost impossible to counterfeit
because of their unique method of manufacture. Plastic
fibers are combined under high temperature and prsssura
and extruded as a rectangular bundje of great length. The
different colored fibers form the pattern of the bill. It is not
printed on but actually made a part of the structure of the
note. The bundle is sliced to paper thinness, and a 14-digit
alphanumeric Ilatter/number combination) is added for uniqueness.
Credit bills are issued in 10, 20, 50, 100, 600,
1,000, and 10,000 credit denominations. Plastic coins,
manufactured in a similar manner in various shapes, are
issued in quarter, half, one, and five credit denominations.
Imperial credits can be bulky in large enough quantities.
Bills measure 75 mrn by t 25 mm; one thousand bills stand
50 mrn high and weigh 500 grams.
