MegaTraveller header font?

Does anyone know the header font from MegaTraveller?

It doesn't look like anything I've seen elsewhere. I've always liked it, but never looked for it.

Any ideas?

Okay, I did the typesetting for the lost DGP book Manhunt, and I spent a lot of time studying the MT books from GDW and DGP. This is what I found.

The MegaTraveller logotype and titling typeface is not Peignot, but URW Globe Overweight. The point size for titles varies depending on the length of the book title, but is typically 60pt-72pt. URW Globe doesn't have a small caps font, so capitals are 1.25x the point size of the rest of the title. I had to manually adjust the tracking to get text to match that on published books; -10 was typical.

The MegaTraveller body font is 9pt Helvetica, while the header/footer font is 11pt Helvetica.

Chapter headings are 24pt Helvetica Bold.

(when I get a spare week, I really need to finish writing up the Traveller Colophon)

Thank you for this information; I knew it wasn't actually Peignot; even I could see differences - but Peignot was similar enough that I felt justified in saying that it was "close to", and I doubt most people would have noticed if you'd used Peignot small caps instead of matching it to URW Globe.
