I have been toying around with creating trav stats for the crew of the Firefly. Has anyone else thought about this and if so what would you give the various crew members?
 
I don't have MGT yet. But I'm interested in seeing what you do with it in regards to Serenity. I've used CT to do just about all the old SF stuff in the past (funny, never Trek. I suppose it was to different, too "clean" or something).
 
Who ever made the characters for the crew made some pretty glaring mistakes. Mal was a settler and rancher on shadow before joining the army to fight in the war. Zoe was never a marine. ect ect.

he was working from CT and I don't think had access to some of the other careers. Also, as for Zoe not being a Marine, it was probably the best way he saw to get the specific skills he wanted.

In MGT of course you could use the point system.

I dont disagree with you, Just showcases how much better MgT is at character generation.

Another note. I’m replacing the Barbarian career with a Settler career that can also start CG at 14 instead of 18 (they grow up fast on the frontier).

I like this idea but not sure how it would work with MgT
