Non-GDW adventure recommendations

Jack,

Stats schmats. You're missing out on some crunchy Traveller goodness if you don't check out the Epic Adventure line here at COTI.

As Hunter pointed out, they do contain CT info too, but any GM worth his Mountain Dew and Doritos can easily 'port the information found in the Epics to whatever system he prefers.

Give them a look, you won't be sorry.

Have fun,
Bill

Cold Dark Grave was waiting on the mat when I came home from work... and I have to dash back out for tonight's RPG session, so I can't read it until tomorrow! Terrible timing, but at least I know what I'll be doing during lunch.

Thanks for the recommendations, everyone. I admit that generally I shy away from adapting d20-style material because the format of the parent system tends to force a great deal of space to be turned over to stats, making many of the products on the market fairly poor value in terms of usable content. However, my interest has been piqued and I'll definitely be looking into the EPIC adventures... once I've finished reading my new book

Space Opera had nice stuff. Used the Casino Galactica book for years. Pacesetter's SF game Space Ace (I think that was the title) had a lot of nice. I used to own all the books & used them.

Well, what'd you think of it? Was is THE adventure I said it was? Or, did you think it wasn't that special?

The possibilities for backstabbing and paranoia are enough to make a GM's heart sing :D

That said, it's going to require some work to fit it to my group. Most likely I'll have to use this adventure later on, once they have established their own characters a bit, because I know for a fact that they will not take well to using pre-gens. We've tried it before in several different games run by different GMs and no-one has taken to the idea. I can understand why this particular adventure is set up to use them, but it does make it a little less universally useful than it might have been.
