I don't have anything going that far back (most of it was burned to protect the innocent), but I do have one dating about 2002, done with a freebie version of Truespace 3.
EDIT: Heh, actually found one that is a year or two older than that. My first attempt at a Fer-de-lance Escort....
One other thing for all of you that say you don't have any artistic talent - I used to be that guy. I can't draw worth a crap, I can't paint anything more complicated that than a room, and I've got the musical talent of a gnat. But if you learn the tools, cgi WILL give you a pretty good shot at letting you share your visions with the rest of the world. All it takes is time and persistence.

Hey, this might be cool, maybe even fun for you. How about doing the exact same pic, with all your more developed and honed skill, for comparison. Might be a good exercise? If you have the time and interest.
