I haven't seen Prometheus yet, but I'm finding reviews like this far more entertaining than I'm likely to find the film. Rental disc it's going to be, on this one.

My friend and I liked it. Totally non-canonical and ties more into the Blade Runner universe. 1st half visually WOW and finally a good starship. 2nd poor pastiche of the original Alien just not as atmospheric because we have seen it before. Horrible ending, however, and I am talking about the last 5mins or so.

Saw it. Liked it. Warts and all, it was cool and enjoyable.

Even tho' there was one too many fools on the expedition. No matter. Perhaps Scott should have given them red shirts to wear.
