"As we know Yontez has a huge low tech population and no pre-collapse high-technology. It is however the only class 1 objective in the AO. The Empire might have left these Billions to languish in a low tech state, but we cannot. This form of selective negligence and favouritism on behalf of the Imperium is one of the things the Coalition is trying to replace in this new era of interstellar civilization. We cannot, physically or morally force these people to join us. We may, however, be able to encourage them to ask. If we believe that our approach to interstellar civilization is morally superior to that of the Imperium, that it is truly in the interests of all sophonts, surely this will be clear to a normal human society, spared the effects of the Final War, Collapse and the Virus.
It is this offices intention to place a network of satellites around Yontez with the intent of educating the general populace in the fields of Science, Medicine and the History of Charted Space, by way of Radio and TV transmissions. Hopefully we can improve their lot by means of education and hopefully engage the imagination of the common individual to the extent that they will not only will they accept a return to space, they with enthusiastically demand it."
In other words, in my campaign the RC are placing a satellite network around Yontez to beam information and propaganda down to the population on Yontez. Any ideas on what would happen next? Would it be successful? Will it be a failure? A random curiosity?[We have to deliver TV shows to where???]
