Have either of the two books mentioned in the subject line been reprinted by FFE? I keep hearing the canon nuts quoting from these, so they're presumably important chunks of Traveller's history... but I've not seen them reprinted (heck, I never even saw them when they were first around. It was only about a year ago when I found out that the LBB adventures weren't the only adventuresever published for CT)

Are they ever going to be reprinted? Or would that just be a bad idea, since they'll probably end up contradicting half a ton of stuff written since then?

I believe they are both on the re-print list but when they will appear is anyone’s guess. The last reprints to be published were the two volumes of alien supplements and that was over a year ago.

Is there any word on when the next reprints are scheduled for release?

The redesigned FFE site isn't much help. Although it's got a saner layout than it used to have, it seems to have even less information on it than it did before! (I couldn't even find anything saying what Traveller is there in any detail!)

I'm hoping that they will be some time in my lifetime as I'm coming up on my 3rd aging roll.

Right now, I'm hoping JTAS 25 - 33 and Second Survey make it out the gate within the next year or two. :D

Cool robject. I have notes of my own errata on SMC around here somewhere, I'll try to hunt them down and get them to you. Though much of my notes were on "fixing" the adventure and correcting the design of the Al Morai ship(s). Off the top of my head I seem to recall some date errors in the wars writeups and of course a couple UWPs seem to have mistakes (an IN Navy Base code in a Zho system for one).

There are a couple of things wrong with the Lurenti as well.
The cost for one, and the amount of fuel carried for a jump 4 ship...

You do realize that JTAS 25-33 is out, and has been for a while, right? Second Survey will likely never appear, but the third JTAS volume is already out.

As to the larger question, I had hopes for at least the Modules Reprint (which would include the Spinward Marches Campaign, but not The Traveller Adventure) until the latest announcements about the CD-ROMS. With the CD-ROM announcement, it would appear (appear = theory, not fact) that Marc has abandoned the printed Reprints.

Which is a shame, as he is quitting just two volumes prior to finishing the series.

Oh, and on the CD-ROMs, note that there is no mention of the Traveller Adventure in it, and the CD-ROM containing SMC isn't terribly popular, and thus is likely to be very low on the priority list.

In short, if you are waiting for either of those items to be reprinted, you are likely out of luck. Either find it on eBay (pretty much impossible with SMC; you have some hope with TTA) or live without.

As an aside, I don't want a fixed SMC. That ain't ever going to happen.

I just wanted a reprinted SMC in a Modules Reprint.
