Snapshot like game, might be a fun traveller add on

OK, first off I hope this is not some violation of some rule somewhere.

I saw this game being given away for free and my first thought was "Hmm, kind of like snapshot, but with an ongoing campaign feature."

My second was "This doesn't look too hard to adapt to traveller and it seems to have a certain traveller je ne sais quoi to it."

My third was "I ought to share this with my fellow travellers in case they might enjoy it."

The setting is different than traveller. Big deal. Just change it. Rename some weapons, armor and equipment, slap some traveller names on things and you're playing a traveller style skirmish game.

Might be a fun alternative to times when you want to game but the reff is working on his plotline.

I know there are traveller paper miniatures out there, so just get a traveller ship map and you're good to go.

I'm glad this didn't get any red texting. I mean, it's a free product so I'm not encouraging people to spend money on something other than traveller. And it has a valid traveller application.

Personally I see nothing wrong with letting people know about something that makes playing Traveller more fun . . .
