Solitaire Traveller?

Anyone know of a good CT adventure for one? Something I can play round with by myself.

I want to run through a couple of things, testing some new rules.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but Freelance Traveller has a decent solitare adventure called "Scouts Honor".

You can find it here

That's a solitaire adventure? I thought it was just for one character and a ref. I'll have to pull it out and look at it.

Thanks.

IIRC, Marooned Alone has an option for solitaire play. But you know what, forget it... Scout's Honor looks really intriguing. Too bad the website seems to have disappeared.

Agreed. I've just read all the pre-play stuff. I'm hyped. I think this is going to be fun.

I haven't played a game like this, with only my lonesome, in quite some time.

I originally asked for a solitaire adventure because I've found them useful (and fun) to play out when testing rules. I sometimes even incorporate my solitaire play into the story of my ongoing campaign. I had a James Bond and a Star Wars campaign where I did this.

I'm not going to use Snapshot or AHL with Scouts Honor, though. I'm using my updated combat system I posted a few days ago. I want to test out that sucker before I spring the changes on my players at our next game session.

You're right, though. Scouts Honor looks like it will be perfect for my uses: fun, neat story, and lots of combat.

Yeah, I was quite excited too, even printed it out thinking to run it tonight to scratch that itch. Then I read where it could be played "group solitaire" and that sounded fun so I just looked at the intro stuff to sell the idea to the group. And that's when it happened. The blush wore off. Issues kept popping up. Minor sure. No doubt most wouldn't notice or care. But I did, and would*. So, do I go through and fix it, spoiling it for myself and turn it into a simple adventure to run for the group? Or do I just write it off?

* stuff like:

The Captain can't actually be the Pilot and Medic (skills too low for dual position) leaving the ship without a legal crew.

Purcell's don't have lifeboats. And the standard crew is 6 not 8, though there can be many more at any time. And they aren't all going to be jumping into a recovered type S at once

me as the Ex-Scout of the Grendel while Drake tells his story casually raises my weapon and trains it on him "Who are you really and how did you get that uniform and end up on that lifeboat? Honest Cap, if this guy is IISS I'm a Chirper."

Nope, too many little problems for me to run this one as is :(

You loose 1 Skill level per extra duty station, correct?

The Captain can't operate at Pilot-0 and Medic-0? No penalties, yet no bonuses either?
