The Imperial Corridor Fleet

  1. DPG is probably someone misremembering DGP - Digest Group Productions - one of the best CT 3rd-party publishers, and the guys who actually wrote MT for GDW.

And yet, it was badly mishandled. There was very little 3rd party support, almost all the 3rd party licenses were terminated or abandoned, the rules were laid out in-house by GDW, in a manner that resulted in a LOT of errors, almost no adventures were released outside of Challenge, most of the adventures didn't highlight the setting's variety.

To truly get the story of the rebellion, you need the following:

    MT Player's Manual
    MT Imperial Encylcopedia
    MT Rebellion Sourcebook
    Survival Margin

  1. DGP yep. My bad. I have been rushing this weekend. Thanks Aramis.

Aramis is correct. You really need the group to understand the full breath of the Rebellion. I suppose Rebellion sourcebook is the key. The MT books are available on CDRom, as mentioned, but some of the DGP magazines are gone. I have an incomplete collection. One just went for $250 on ebay, hence the desire for having them in pdf.

I have these on CD:
MegaTraveller Players Manual
MegaTraveller Referees Manual
MegaTraveller Imperial Encyclopedia

Is it in there?

Rebellion Sourcebook and Hard Times should be on the MT CD.

I don't know for certain - I don't have the CD, having gotten the MT PDFs via DTRPG.

Well:
MT Player's Manual - I have
MT Imperial Encylcopedia - I have
MT Rebellion Sourcebook - Available on DTRPG
Survival Margin - Available on DTRPG

What is the year for T5?

There isn't one. T5 has no singular setting. Most of the stardata are circa 1105. But that has as much to do with supporting MGT.

Aramis is correct. I was rushed and should have added more detail.
But really, 1105 is a defacto standard.

5FW = 5th Frontier War
While correct, if you look at the date on the 25 credit coins, they say 1115. We have money from 10 years in the future

Khouth subsector has 7 naval bases, none on a mainworld or near the frontline.
Sashrakusha has 11 and no fleets.

What supplement was/is that in?

I'm looking at the travellermap.com. Rebellion shows an incorrect map of fleet layouts.

I have been doing widespread naval analysis. I thought those we're amazing numbers. I recall one supplement suggested neighboring fleets help the corridor O subsector. I could assume a few naval vessels in the sleepy subsector going from base to base.

It's been a long time since i looked at prewar 3I. Yeah. Depot has a lot of resources...a lot.

How do you know it is incorrect? Duplicate and missing fleet numbers are not necessarily incorrect, nor are changes from pre-5FW to post-5FW.

There are two perspectives not just one.
So why did you state your perspective as if it was the only one?

(Not to mention that canon is assumed to be correct unless no reasonable explanation for it can be found. So since duplicate and missing fleet numbers can be explained (there's even a well-know historical precedence), strictly speaking there is only one perspective -- that the Rebellion map is correct.)

Everyone knows the canon basis. No reason to reiterate it.
Which precedence are you basing your entire argument on?
