The Origin of Astroburgers?

Who originally came up with the Spinward Marches fast-food franchise Astroburgers? What was the story behind it?

I first read about it in GURPS: Traveller Behind the Claw, but I look at the Astroburgers entry on the Traveller wiki and it says it was created by Peter Gray. I am confused and would be interested in having that confusion dispelled. If anybody out there knows anything, please let me know.

The reason Peter Gray is on that entry is because Peter ended up reposting a large number of entries from BtC on his own website. I ended up copying them into the wiki (with Peter's permission) assuming he was the original author. Later I found out about this when I was asked to remove/rewrite the BtC entries from the wiki. But obviously I didn't get them all.

In reading the entry, Peter updated the BtC information for the New Era, which seemed to be a favorite project of his for a long time. So the write-up is from Peter, but not the original source.

Due to copyright issues I have avoided copying information from GT, T20, and MGT into the wiki. If you are looking for information which may be sourced from those editions, the wiki is not a good source.

The original source is actually a not-traveller SF game I ran. One of the players made some comment about Astroburgers as a joke and it became a recurring one. So we wrote it into BtC and Starmercs just for fun.

The source for my interpretation of Astroburgers is based on Charlie Brown's Burger House, formerly in Carrolton, TX. Sadly the original structure was demolished in 1983.
