Fighting between Droyne units and K'Kree expeditionary forces have escalated to new levels. Droyne enclaves on Imperial worlds have been building low tonnage warships, and there is a reported increase in arms and munitions manufacturing.

IN has moved in mainline units as a bulwark against K'Kree intrusion, and it is believed that the duke is contemplating military intervention against Droyne military adventures.

The root of the conflict is unclear, but reports of a third party are unconfirmed. Reports of Vargr involvement are sporadic, but it appears the usual hire of Vargr so-called corsair units acting as mercenaries have been confirmed.

The focal point of the conflict is an uninhabited and empty region of space. Neither the IISS nor IN have given insight as to the root cause of the conflict.

Her royal highness, the Countess Leanna Phoebe Tukera, commonly known as Princess Leanna to her fans, daughter to Duchess Margaret Yetrina Tukera, was abducted in a bold raid on her royal retreat on Anaxais located within the duchesses royal personal park reserve.

Duchess Margaret's royal huscarls were mobilized in a massive search and rescue effort, but for naught. A ransom note left on a data pad has proved fruitless in abiding with the kidnapper's demands.

The princesses personal security transponder was last located three jumpes from Anaxais. A high reward of an undisclosed amount has been offered, but the royal family are at the moment not accepting contracts at the current time, citing royal prerogative.

Princess Leanna is known for an active night life among socialites as well as endorsing and actively participating in a number of charitable organizations, notably those dealing with children and animals both domesticated and wild. Her model contract with Quatia Cosmetics was renewed for another twenty years, founder Caroline Hennington citing the princesses natural and seemingly undying beauty, and as such the cosmetic firm has offered a bounty for her safe return.

The daughter of Duchess Margaret would not be a princess. If she was the eldest child she would use the second highest of her mother's titles. Usually this would be a countal title, but Margaret is in the highly unusual position of having two ducal titles, so her eldest child and heir might use the courtesy title Duchess of Anaxia. However, Strephon has asked that she divide her titles between her children, so the Duchy of Anaxia would go to her second child; her heir might therefore use Margaret's third highest title. (And the second child might not get to use the ducal title but instead the fourth highest title[*]). And to compound the problems there is the question of Count Blaine's titles.

Margaret was born on 228-1081, so in 1106 she would be 25 years of age. She is also (presumably[**]) unmarried and childless. She was married to Count Blaine Trulla Tukera in 1110, with no mention of any previous entanglements in her writeup [GT:Nobles, p. 105-6]. Even if she did have a previous spouse or lover, a child would not be in her late teens in 1106.

Her royal highness, the Countess Leanna Phoebe Tukera, commonly known as Princess Leanna to her fans, daughter to Duchess Margaret Yetrina Tukera, is still missing.

Her personal transponder was last picked up on the outskirts of Margaret's Realm in the reputed lawless territories where Hiver and K'Kree space meet. Reports of piratical elements engaging in unsavory practices such as gun running and slavery, have been met with caution.

Duchess Tukera has personally ordered mobilization of her home fleet in an effort to retrieve her abducted child. In the wake of border disputes and saber rattling by Soloman and Hiver elements, the duchess has argued the measure as reasonable.

:alpha: Kimberly Britt, Terra's most prolific holo-vid writer/producer has married an Imperial Noble creating a great stir and uproar among her fan base. Britt, who is known for the smash hit romantic comedys such as "Sleepless in Regina Startown" and "Yours, mine and mine" has continually won awards for holo-features that seem to sympathize with pro-Soli social aims. This nuptual may put her career at a cross roads. When asked about the her fan reaction she replied; "Well, it was either him or some whacked out schizo that my parents arranged for me." Britt will be attending the 859th annul Holo-Vid Vincent awards where she'll show a trailer of her new musical "All Soli's well that ends well".

:alpha: A secret operative for Morgan Firearms, a one Michelle Anton, was arrested today trying to smuggle a sick Chihuahua onto a liner and out of Terran space and into Confederation space. Her patron, R. Nillsson, a high profile investigator for the Imperial Navy has posted bond and explained that taking animals in need out of political space where they can recieve proper medical care, is no crime. Imperial Customs thinks otherwise, and has slapped miss Anton with a one-hundred-fifty-thousand credit fine for contravening the "sick livestock Act" or 1058. Michelle Anton had no comment to make, but did drop a picture of one of her surveillance subjects from her diary, a one "G. Ebersole" whom is said to be filing charges against miss Anton whom he described as an "obsessed stalker".

:alpha: Sean McKissack, noted publishing tycoon has won the Pulitzer Prize for his highly acclaimed play; "Robot Human Love" about a female robot falling love with the son of its creator. The play has been lauded for insightful social commentary, but a group of artificial persons of the group NORDIC (National Organization for Robots, Droids and other Intelligent Creations) have criticized the play for for being sexist stating "only a human would come up with a female robot falling for a male Terran ...
