I like your ideas. Sort of like showing how to survive at sea after abandoning the ship while on board a cruise ship.
One particular jump on board a luxury liner that was hosting an orthodontists convention and a local noble's bachelor party, the master entertainment hard drive was hacked by a disgruntled DDS student, and the only available entertainment was what follows....CAUTION, this is NOT a film for those with WEAK CONSTITUTIONS.
Said film played for 24/7 during the entire jump.

If you're into bad B/W movies of yesteryear: Kronos, Robot Monster, Project Moonbase, Cat Women on the Moon. The Mole People is one of my guilty pleasures, but others may find it too silly.
Well, kind of the point of the thread is to see if you have those in your entertainment center

'Cat Women on the Moon' is educational! It taught me that you can build a moon rocket out of a corrugated metal shed.
Also, and for the record, this thread inspired me to finally buck up and watch 'Space Truckers' the other night. So... that happened.
Oh man. I vaguely, and I mean VAGUELY, remember a blurb for Space Truckers somewhere. Dennis Hopper's target audience typically were burnt out drug cases and/or drug culture types. I'm somewhat surprised he did this film. It also somewhat reminds me of Starrigger.
Frank Zappa mentions it in his song 'Cheapnis'.
A movie about an inverted ice cream cone monster that lands on Earth. Has teeth along the bottom edge. It moves so slowly, a turtle could outrun it, and yet it was devistating the Earth by devouring people.
I remember the title as 'It Conquered the World'.
Evidently in some film prints, you can see a hand in the lower left of the screen, push the monster out of the cave.

banning them almost ensures there will be a subculture perpetuating them. Might not see them on ships, but will see them in dimly lit back rooms.

I could easily see Romeo and Juliet and several other works of Shakespeare getting banned in the Third Imperium because it is believed that they incite dueling amoung the younger impressionable nobles.

Here's one that kind of hits close to home with the Imperium, but I doubt it'll do more than raise a groan here and there (ironically this was shown at the Emperor's private birthday party, and as a joke one of his nephews loaded up the crystal which beheld ....)........
