Unpopular movies onboard your starship.

For an Aslan crew, 100 episodes of The Victory Garden or The Best Fertilizers for Improved Algae yields in hydroponic tanks.

For Vargr crews, the Werewolf of London (1936). I still think that this is the best werewolf movie.

Ack! Space Herpes!

Oh man, that's going into my Netflix queue right now. I can guarantee the wife is going to be displeased come Movie Night!

And can I say that I am incredibly impressed that this topic has THIRTEEN PAGES of responses! Love it.

Thought of this while driving home from class today.

Colossus: The Forbin Project, for a crew of survivors of the Virus. Also, given Hal the homicidal computer in 2001, that movie would qualify too.

Another one that survivors of the Virus would not greatly appreciate is Gort, from the original The Day the Earth Stood Still. I still view that movie as one of the best science-fiction movies ever made.

And for freaking out the Zhodani, Morbius from The Forbidden Planet.

"How to Succeed In Ling Standard Products Without Really Trying"
"Little Artificial Prefab on the Sea of Tranquility Prairie"
"Gauss Gunsmoke"

:D

Retro Movie Time!!!

On a K'kree ship: The original "Godfather" for obvious reasons.

On an Aslan ship: Any good werewolf movie

On a Vargr ship: Any good werewolf movie...

On a Hiver ship: Michael Moore movies... ( Illogical, but propaganda, but illogical...)

On a B'waps ship: Only the first half hour of every Restaurant Impossible or Hotel Impossible ever made (C'mon, you get this, right?, or am I being way too esoteric here?)

Vilani-Imperial: Any movie based on Wagner's operas.

Solomani: ET the Extraterrestrial - especially the re-release where they deleted the guns (the b*stards!)

Sword Worlders: Any movie making fun of Wagner's operas... or any French language film from Cannes...

Zhodani: Any of the beach blanket bingo movies. Talk about mindless.........

Black and white Imperial military training films like, How to avoid getting an STD when dealing with Aliens.

If you search on archive.org, you can actually find the movies covering that area that the US Army produced in World War 2. Not out of this world aliens however, more like foreigners from Europe, North Africa, and Asia.

Worst movies ever on any Humaniti ship: Hiver ⌧!

Just imagine... Weird alien light... Obscure subsonic and ultrasonic noises... Smells normally found in nightmares... Squiddyish cthulhuistic writhing...

And worst of all, the subtle, mind-numbing yet controlling message that this is what real sentient being do and this is lovely and gentle and sweet and...

Sure to open airlocks across the cosmos!!!

I was using those as the parody here. I figure some things never change no matter what military you are stuck in.

Ouch! One of my ancestors was in the Royal Navy and when I looked at the muster book for the Chatham I got a nasty shock! Not the thing you want to know about your ancestor!
