What Makes an Adventure Really Good?

I did a campaign of Champions with a group, and the game combat was pretty abstract, and the objective (which would prove the basis for the TV show "Heros") had no ultimate story to it.

O now, I just have to bite on this one. Please explaine with some more detail.

Regards,

Ewan

Well, there's not much else to tell. The premise and premiere story for "Heroes" was (is) the Champions campaign I participated in some two to three years before the show hit the air waves. Maybe 2/3 of our players were actors of some type, and possibly one a writer-actor. It stands to reason the idea got pitched somehow, but I had no hand in the creative process other than to play some guy with teleportation powers (very upscaled compared to what Hiro has in the TV show).

To be honest that group was very whacked for several reasons, and I'm very glad I left it.
