I received information that a friend and long time Traveller fan, known around here as Shadowbear passed away recently. His obit hasn't been published yet.
He played in my Traveller group for the playtests of T20 and EABA. (When I playtested EABA, I used the Traveller setting.)
He was also a Green Bay Packers fan, a veteran (USCG, I think), a huge Traveller fan, a D&D fan, and just a really neat guy; his wife wasn't a gamer, but didn't mind his gaming. For the last 5 years or so, his health precluded his getting to games in town. (He lived about 15 miles from me.)
I last talked to him back in January.
I'll post a link to the obit soon as it hits. I was informed by a mutual friend who talked to his wife.
