I see ya got the 25dtn F-15's now (12 for CAS), the Stiletto-Lt grav tank (crew 2/2dtns/TL-14), hows the hunt fer a grav APC going?

Mis-comms

Me Personally in real life, used to parade with the Assault troop, A Squadron, 10th LightHorse Regiment. We were based in Perth in Western Australia and the unit is a medium recon independant squadron.

(Yes I know it's called a regiment - B&C squadrons haven;t been in place since the 60s)

I regularly design recon vehicles as a design test and equip mech/motor recon units - but I didn;t intend to plot the 10th lighthorse for trav.

Aside: We had one of our vehicles stolen and once when doing a public display water crossing we sank two of our vehicles. Internally we might refer to ourself as the 7th Heavy Seahorse!

Having said I don;t have the unit plotted for trav - it sounds like fun - but it's lots of vehicles. Particularly all the support.

As Mink reminded me, there are alot of support vehicles to deal with. And I am not sure how much of a tail I want to deal with. Gahhhhhh, I Forgot how much c**p there is to deal with.

Okay, go with the Astrin APC (TL-14). The RS Dean Files site of http://www.solstation.com/core/astrogation_en.htm
Is where I got yer Stiletto vehicle.
Might I suggest adding at least a 12Mj Plasma/fusion gun to it with a VRF gauss "spotter" weapon alongside in a remote turret.(perhaps a "pop-UP" style for better areodynamics?). Carries ten BD troopers, displaces 10dtns.

Firesupport / Rocket artillery assets are built on the Astrin chassis; as is an RPY fusion gunned ADA dedicated platform (Trepida chassis--crew is same as per Trepida).The MRL "sled" usingthe Astrin chassis, and the troops section pops up with a bristling array of twenty 10cm Rockets (TL-dependent upon supplies!)instead! TAC missiles anyone?! All of this stolen lock stock and barrel from regency vehicle sourcebook sir!

Now the beauty of the whole systems of vehicles-interchangeable parts for gravitics, drives, avionics, etc. (built on the two vehicles chassis of Trepida & Astrin.) Saves working different skilled mechanics too.

Now an added bonus, the planet yer unit comes from produces these as part of Imperial Military wares,and thus gets a home team advantaged discount!(10% at least!). (I assume a world with a B-class starport at the least, and TL-14, might I add )
