Decorating my computer room. I need your suggestions for cool art that I can purchase. Preferably poster sized. Especially, as Seeker gave up publishig their Traveller prints, we seem to have no Traveller related art that is poster sized. I am not really interested in the early T20 Space Marines cover either...

Too bad I just tossed out some Traveller posters that Steve Jackson Games sent me when I purchased stuff years back. Found it in an old box and it was still new.

Maybe send them an email (e23 or Warehouse23) or pop in to their BBS
and ask if they still have any around.

How about some paper starship models? OK, there is a distinct lack of Traveller models there but well - if someone has a working 3D model with textures somewhere it can be converted to a paper model sheet...

And at least some of the Homeworld starships look "travelleresque" to me.

I used to have a great poster on my bedroom wall. It showed an astronaut standing on the Moon, looking up at the Earth...and, if you look closely, peeing into a crater! :)

Don't worry Andrew, I have the 2008 calendar on my to buy list...but I was looking for a poster sized or poster (pls include links) as there is a lot of blank wall that I need to fill.

FOr my recently constructed man cave I have lots of military prints but also a framed copy of the 2300AD star map and also the poster sized Spinward Marches sector map that came in one of the box sets.

You could go wild (well nto as wild as the trekie guy) and paint a mural on one wall. A friend did this in his game store. He had an artist draw a few images for him, projected them up on the wal, traced them, then the artist painted them on the wall. Came out very nice.

Justa thought. ;)

I think Kinkos used to do poster sized blowups of pictures. Not sure if they still do that, but you could grab some Traveller art off this site, burn it to a CD, then make a run to Kinkos and see if they'll print it up... you might want to call them first.

You could always go the whole hog and convert your den in to a Traveller Scout. One guy bankrupted himself doing up his flat to a Star Trek theme. It paid off though in the end. He sold his flat for a cool £425,000 Sterling (around $850,000 US).

You might want to get the artist permission also.
