Gateway Domain Campaign Sourcebook

So now that the Traveller Handbook is popping up all over the place (I pre-ordered, so I'm still waiting for mine!), any idea when we'll see the Gateway Domain Campaign Sourcebook?

Martin is busily working on it as we speak. The plan is to get it into playtest in November and into layout in December for a hopefully late Dec / early Jan release.

We should have a few new TA's popping up before then. There are 4 waiting in the wings currently.

Will the Gateway sourcebook (and other supplements) will be a more typical page length (i.e. 128-160) than the T20 corebook? Or is it also going to be a hefty tome?

TA's are issues of the "Traveller's Aid" series: the $6 PDF downloads available from the website.

TA 1: Personal Weapons of Charted Space
TA 2: a bunch of fiction pieces by MJD

In the Works:
TA 3: ground vehicles
TA 4: NPCs
TA 5: grav vehicles

Hunter and gang, could I suggest a TA on Military Weapons that would compliment TA 1? There are alot of references to military weapons, armour, etc. in TA 1 that are not detailed.

Actually they are $5, and cheaper if you get a 6 or 12 issue subscription.

Yes, there are about 4 of them planned to follow and support the Gateway book.

Are you interested in writing one or just suggesting it?

It is one that Martin and I have discussed, but have not scheduled to be done yet. Martin will be doing some future TAs but we actually prefer using this line to introduce new authors and as a possible spring board for them into future printed titles.

What Hunter means is that he'd rather I worked on the Gateway book he's drooling about than a TA about more guns.

Okay then; I had planned to do 2 more "weaponry" TAs: MIlitary Equipment and "Personal Protection"
I guess threy're up for grabs if someone wants to make a pitch.

I would love to take a stab at it, but I don't have the free time (or a T20 book yet

) to do the job I think the project deserves.

I would like to contribute if possible and playtest.

Despite some, err, "issues" with the Gateway book, it's up to 75,000 words and nealry at the "put-it-together-for-playtest" stage.
