Question...is any one else getting a lot of unwanted POP UPS....ADS.....when they get off the Lone Star Chat....i sure am!!!!....

Pop up adds? I don't get any... the only really annoying thing I experience is the 'bots that pop into the room and send you a whisper/IM/Message with some advert for 'The Best ⌧ Site in All Creation!' But the 'whisper' service can be disabled in the chat preferences for each user which will prevent any private chatting between two people.

Lavasoft.com makes a FREE program called "ad aware" that can scan for spy ware and can stop those processes that get snuck onto your computer when you load something fromt he web soemtimes.

The program is free and you'll be amazed at how many little things they can sneak onto your system.

I'd love to - but M$N insists of a .njet password and also insists that I change my operatingsystem to Windows which is a bit difficult on a Unixstation
