Happy Birthday!

Here's a reminder of the way things were when we were growing up (I'll be 57 a month from now myself).
1. You could be away from home for a month without having to lock your doors.
2. Your choices in chips was which of about 3 brands (all plain) you wanted to buy.
3. If you got in trouble in school, you got a date with the "board of education." (And another at home when, not if, your parents found out about it.)
4. TV was black & white and often only 1 to 3 channels were avaliable.

There are lots more, but my wife wants my attention right now.

Older than many subsidized merchants but a much more productive lifespan. Thanks for sharing a little of the joy. No greater legacy can anyone build than many hours of good companionship. Keep building and many thanks!

OOOOH :D Now I may know what it is. Haven't seen one of those in ages if I'm right. Of course waaaaay out here in the black it could be a while before mine arrives. I await the next X-Boat arrival in rapt antici...
