Howdy, folks!

I'm new to Traveller, having reffed maybe 5 or six sessions in a little mini-campaign. (I'm using the Classic reprints, in case anyone's curious.) I trying to do some prep work for my next little venture and I need some info:

On some online atlases of charted space, the UWP's have attached to them a 3 digit code called PBG or somesuch. Does that mean Planets/Belts/Gas Giants or what?

I seem to have run into a few references to a space in the Spinward Marches called the Abyss or something like that. Where is it? Is it the space between the worlds in 5 Sisters and District 268?

Speaking of the 5 Sisters, I'm thinking of running a game focusing on the handful of worlds in the spinward/rimward corner of that Subsector: Raweh, Jinx, Wonderay and the 2 numerically coded worlds among them. Are there any canononical sources of Classic era info on these worlds beyond Supplement 3? I guess MT stuff would do as well.

Also, where can I get some info on the Marrakesh Trade Association?

Finally, how do just 4 Kinunirs keep the spacelanes safe?

(Okay, that last one was just a joke.)

PBG stands for Population, Planetary Belts, Gas Giants. It was originally PPG, but that was a little confusing. The Population number is the multiple of the 10 to the X from the UWP/UPP. So, if the population number is 6 in the UWP/UPP, and the population number is 3 in the PBG/PPG, then the population of the planet is 3 x 10 to the 6th power or 3,ooo,ooo.

Hope that helps,

Rob

You got it.

It's that big empty spot in Lanth subsector.

Try the Spinward Marches Campaign (GDW)

Also, where can I get some info on the Marrakesh Trade Association?
Sorry, no idea.

That was addressed in the revised edition of CT Adventure 1: The Kinunir. Unfortunately the print run wasn't very big.

My last one was a joke too. . .
