It would provide a very good life, but not private jump yachts and things like that.

I've been thinking about adding to the income of the Chosen by giving them an unoptanium mine. But what kind of mine? Anti-matter doesn't work for a a surface mine, and I don't think zuchai crystals and lanthanum is valuable enough. Anagathics, perhaps? Or a unique type of gemstone like the Zarathustra sunstones?

Anyone have any ideas/opinions?

What about some superheavy Trans-Actinide elements (like the Keith Brothers "Onnesium") ^* in the "island" of radioisotope stability on the extended Periodic Table? Several Traveller sources (including MT) have suggested they would be quite lucrative if a source could be found.

Just questions

With T5 out and Second Survey done for Paya
Why would the Navy, Oberlindes & the Imperium in general put any bases on Paya
Current data has 3 GG and 10 other worlds to have the bases on or said bases could be a massive orbital station.

With that said, I can see a massive orbital class A (it survived) the downport is what was destroyed.
Thus rent would not be needed, Bribes to keeps them happy? Insurance from "falling" objects?

Does Paya need a retcon? Maybe some small ones?:CoW:

That's one of the questions this thread is discussing. If you read it from the beginning you'll know as much as anyone (Or so I believe)

One canonical statement says that both Oberlindes and the IN pay rent to the Payans for their bases.

Yes, any orbital installations would likely have survived the strike. How well they would have survived two decades of missed maintenance is another question.

A rather big one, IMO. That's certainly the opinion I've been trying to express in this thread.
