Reaver's Deep?

Is the Reaver's Deep sector part of any published game materials? If so, which one(s)?

There was an entire Sector Sourcebook by the Keith's published by Cargonaut Press. The Reaver's Deep was also touched on in Traveller Digest #16 and both issues of Far Traveller by FASA.

Also, I just remembered that there were also the Pilot's Guide to the Drexilthar Subsector and the Pilot's Guide to the Caledon Subsector (the former was published, the latter was put together and included on the Traveller Apocrypha (FASA) CD-ROM from Far Future. (Both are on that disc in PDF).

Part of the Cargonaut sourcebook were various unpublished Keith stuff. Other parts were by the TML Pocket Empire group. (We did base our stuff on the published Keith stuff from Gamelords).

Note that the Cargonaut materials have been superceded by T5SS (because at the time the Cargonaut materials were in copyright heck). While Marc now owns the Cargonaut materials wholly, he decided for now to leave Reavers' Deep as is.

And I created the Pilot's Guide to Caledon Subsector as a proof of concept (much like my creation of the High Guard v1 pdf), but I'd really like to redo it with some additional materials that have come to light since.

How significantly different are the two? Are they reconcilable with some GM tweaking, or are they worlds apart (no pun intended :) )?

I didn't realize that the Cargonaut Reaver's Deep Sourcebook was ever canon, nor the Keith books included with it.

Um... what is Reaver's Deep right now? The Gamelords material and nothing else?

What two? What's the other one?

The material developed by the TML Pocket Empire Group was most carefully developed from the Gamelords books. There should be little or no incompatibility.

Cargonaut vs. T5SS, as Don mentioned above. Is there a contradiction between the two? Or is either of the above divergent from the Gamelords/TML and/or other material?

Any help is always welcome!

Positive vibes to you!

After reviewing, T5SS went with S&A's Union of Harmony rather than TD17's Ulane Hierate. So there might well be not much of a difference between Cargonaut and T5SS.

Noted for further review, probably when another developer works on Reavers' Deep.

Trying to catch up and for future record.
It would be great for those who post, say the first time they use an acronym, to spell it out. Don't forget that there may be first time users looking in and personally, its a pain when those in the know start banding around abbreviation.
You want to encourage participation not drive a wedge in.
So my question is T5SS? Sound like a survey but only because I have been at Traveller from the beginning, but recently returned.
It could also be good to mention where this piece of research/component can be found.
Thanks
Allan
