A bit more info for the above. In FF&S/TNE inertial compensation in more limited in range than other editions i.e. TL12 inertial compensation is limited to 3g, which means most 4g ships are tail sitters. Also note for things like fighters can equip pilots/crew in G-suits and gravity compensating seats allowing for higher accelerations at the expense of damage control/crew movement under thrust.Actually, I generally set performance guidelines rather than ship sizes...
1g- slow unstreamlined commercial ships
2g- for streamlined ships.
3/4g for most military ships
