Small Ship fleet sizes

add: Ooh, saved from an accidental double post by some new 10-second rule. Nice addition!

thanks.

I have always treated it as normal damage mode ... each die to a separate stat (since MT lacks the single stat on first hit rule, handling KO using the hits mechanic. But note that if a stat is reduced to zero by the permanent loss, he's in an aging crisis. ...

Hadn't thought to apply that. So, passenger comes out of low berth with a pair of seriously bad rolls, ends up in a hospital where the unlucky future-stiff encounters a third and fourth seriously bad roll, the subsequent damage roll from that could take him to a perm-0 in something, and if that happens he has to roll for an aging crisis. He has to get unlucky ... six times in succession, at varying levels of probability.

Should have gotten the pneumovax.:D

I had a PC with low stats go into a low berth following an injury. UPP was 653xxx or so, and current going in was 113xxx following field medical. Then a fumbled roll, and a 12 mishap... and 1,1,2 for damage...

Result: either 001xxx or 100xxx or 010xxx... and the player was unwilling to play the character if he lost his dex or strength mods., so opted for the aging crisis.... and came out of it, 551xxx. Then the PT began to rebuild the lost attibutes. (Read as two overlapping stat gain programs..)

Someone's having unprotected post. ;)

Occurs to me that would be a good time to have a campaign exploring cybernetic prosthetics.
