Spinward Marches Reference Data

SOC-9
I'm trying to compile reference data for systems specifically within the Spinward Marches, although this would be aimed at CT, the information needed is basic planetary descriptions beyond UPP, and, preferably, world maps, as long as it's canon I'm not really concerned about the timeline.

Can anyone recommend online wikis (with maps) or reference books to get, I am already thinking of GT:Behind the Claw and GT:Sword Worlds as some examples.

I already have the CT collection on CD ROM.

TIA

You've unknowingly set yourself quite a task. Marches UWP data exists in several "flavors" all of which have differences from each other. For example, I dread to even mention the Regina TL issues... shudder...

There's an errata document stickied at the top of this forum which should have the most current "best" list of Marches UWPs.

You should avoid GT:Behind the Claw. It was shoddily researched, poorly thought out, and, allegedly, the original manuscript rather than the final playtested manuscript was sent to the printers.

You should get GT:Sword Worlds. Unlike BtC, it's authors were sticklers for accuracy and, when they needed to change something because the original materials just could not be made to work, they made the smallest changes possible.

I already have the CT collection on CD ROM.

Pick up the JTAS, MT, and TNE CDs also. A lot of what you're looking for will be found in adventures rather than sourcebooks.

I am working with Traveller Map and Dom's comprehensive timeline. The timeline should be searched by subsector, and system names. The benefit is you get all the information for the world and the source it came from. If you dont like G:BTC than you dont have to use it. Though even Dom admits its not everything its still a great place to start.

Thanks for replies, I'm aware of the online resources mentioned and they provide a lot of detail both canon and non-canon, but what I am really after is world maps, aside from those mentioned in the books I have already. Is there a reason why world maps are not in http://traveller.wikia.com/wiki/Traveller_Wiki, I'd assume this is due to the FFE "fair use" policy covering artwork?

Does GT:Behind the Claw have any maps? I know GT:Sword Worlds does (from the preview at e23), but obviously only for the Sword Worlds.

I am not sure that many of the Spinward Marches worlds were mapped outside of the adventures set there, and the additional material from other groups beside GDW.
