SUNDOG class : 100 ton Vehicular Scout

Sure thing.

Here's the numberings I came up with, though of course some of these aren't in stone as the ship is customizeable. Looking at the deckplans now that I have them I'll probably make a few minor changes. like adding another cargo door on the opposite side of the cargo bay....changing a few doors, etc. but on the whole I'm happy with it

Ok...here's the numbers:

Cralwer Module=====
1. Bridge
2. Computer
3. Avionics
4. Airlock facilities (larger to handle both enterances and provide exploration equipment. as well as an extendable catwalk to connect both halves of the ship when the crawler is away).
5. Communications shack
6. Excess space
7. Staterooms
8. Lower deck/Upper turret access
9. Life support, ship systems monitoring
10. Common area
11. Cargo
12. Excess space
13. Crawler engine

Cradle module=====
14. Excess space
15. Small craft cabin
16. Engine spaces (houses Powerplant, Maneuver & Jump drives)

Land leviathons may be cool fantasy but they don't work very well in the real world.
Don't tell that to NASA... the worlds largest tracked vehicle is the NASA crawler. Quite practical; speed limit is more due to age and ground pressure issues. It wasn't designed for speed (nor for minimizing ground pressure). It was the best way for nasa to get rockets from the VAB to the launch pad.

If I did my deckplans correct it doesn't seem to be all that huge. 24m long by 7 1/2 m wide. A little bigger than the size of a locomotive engine and accompanying car if I'm visualizing it correctly.

Yes, but he also just pointed at this thread from another one, so...

I wonder if the Gallery would be the solution...

Sorry... didn't realize those links were gone.. fixed now via the gallery at your suggestion and doubly so by finding a new place for the .pdf :)

Again, my apologies

OK, but you seem to have a problem with the deck plan.

The deck access hatches do not line up (they should be directly aligned vertically). If you move the lower deck drawing to line them up, the little space to the right of the crawler engine control position at the aft end of the lower deck sticks out 1/2 space past the aft end of the main deck.
