I would be interested in seeing another ezine. Personally, I don't think you can have enough resources when you GM. Besides I'm always looking for write ups for NPCs, etc. If I can contribute anything, just let me know.

Well, to make sure that enough people are interested, if you are interested in getting the 'zine, please either e-mail me at
mfinch2 at houston.rr.com

or post your email here (if you do, don't forget to mis-type it so a human can fix it but a bot can't pick it up for spam)

I won't use the addresses for anything but the 'zine.

Still need a title.

flynnwd at mail dot com

Title suggestion:
* T20 Tales
* Known Space
* Letters of Marque
* Imperial Edicts
* Notes From The Grand Census
* IISS Reports

Hope some of these help,
Flynn

I'd probably sign up. Are we talking freebie fan-e-zine or some small subscription fee to be shared by those involved? You can send mine to far_trader_mail at yahoo dot ca

How about "You Have X-mail!" (he said half in jest)

Flynn's "Imperial Edicts" isn't bad, though "T20 Tales" just caused the "Duck Tales" cartoon theme song to start endless looping in my mind :mad: ;) and "Known Space" is too Niven specific in my mind.

Mythmere, I'd be interested. Mostly I'd be interested in the less rules-specific stuff, of course (not being a T20 user at the moment...). How would I sign up for it, how would I get it, and how much would I pay for it? And if I wished to contribute, how would I do so?

I wasn't thinking of charging for it. To sign up, either post your email (with "at" instead of @) or email me at mfinch2 at houston.rr.com.

Mythmere,

Sign me up, but please let me know the domain name so that it can get past my filters...

I would like to contribute to your ezine. Just be aware that my stuff will be centered around the Former Julian Protectorate during Post-Virus Era (Old Imperial Year 1214). It would be considered "Alternate Traveller Universe" material, as nobody official has detailed anything about this area of space during this time as of yet.

Here is a tentative plan:

First issue: September 1 mailing date
Title: Mythmere Tango Two-Zero
Reason for Title: the site I already pay for uses "Mythmere" in the name, so if I post back issues it keeps everything consistent.
Contents:
* One NPC (T-20 stat block and description)
* One Patron Encounter
* A plug and play planetary culture
Examples: a desert world with a breathable atmosphere (portable into any Traveller campaign), or a vaccuum world, or an asteroid world.
* Possibly any news from QLI if they have anything they want to publicize (not that the first issue will have a big circulation)
*Possibly some pieces of equipment

So: we need authors for these pieces. All of you that have volunteered to write, claim your chapter. It would be neat to do a themed issue (Desert world, desert patron, desert equipment, for example). First person to suggest a theme environment probably sets the tone for the first issue.

Scarecrow: I'm going to put together a website to house this ezine. Any artwork (banner at top, etc.) that wouldn't cut too much into your schedule would be greatly appreciated, per your earlier offer.

I don't know if I'll ever contribute, but I'll sign up. lesleychef @ aol.com.

Mythmere, that plasma mine is available for addition to the 'zine, just give me an author credit.

Just a note, you cannot charge for it without a license. I realize you aren't planning to, I just want to be sure it is clear to anyone else considering it.

And that's pretty much why I posed the question, clarification is always good.

Hi Mythmere, I'm confused. I sent an e-mail to the above address and got the reply:

"you set to the wrong address."

:confused:
