The Traveller Test

No not the one that was used at a convention to determine your UPP...

I'm talking about one of those online based tests like you run across from time to time that supposedly tells you which character you are most like on a tv show or how much of a sci-fi geek you are.

I just find it amusing and odd that somehow Traveller has slipped through the cracks when it comes to one of these tests when it seems nearly every other game system out there has at least one test devoted to it not to mention some of the really obscure topics that have associated tests.

If I knew how to do it I would create one online - just because.

The sling is difficult. When I was a kid I made an 18 foot war sling. Despite having an empty half section to work with I managed to knock a chip out of a cement silo. The silo was the only structure out there and the only thing I was trying to miss.

I came out on the test as a Solomani.

Get along fine with most folk, I even like K'kree...

Traveller would almost be too easy, tho.

o You find the best stuff at garage sales and swap meets (Merchant)
o You go to the firing range and bring a really big gun (Merc)
o You like looking at the stars or archaeology (Scout)
o You know what someone is going to say before they say it (Psionicist)
o You like to tinker with things (Engineer)
o You read a lot (Academic)
o You pull out a First Aid kit any time someone gets a scratch (Medic or Doctor)
o You think you're better than everyone else (Noble, Marine, or Rogue)
o You wear a backpack everywhere you go (Traveller)
o You have a great singing voice (Entertainer)

And the list goes on...

I broke even between Hiver and Zhodani at 62% or so.

For some reason I find that a bit unsettling.
