And which of the Canon designs offer Pitch, Yaw and Roll controls based on location of engines?
(AFAIK only the Gazelle offers both Pitch and Yaw based on engine placement.)

Besides if it is inherently unstable, that makes it more maneuverable, like current fighter plane design theory.

Perhaps the "plate" at the front is actually the fuel tender? It detaches for the fuel run, then reattaches for fuel transfer. The plate, by itself, would be streamlined.
Depends on the actual design of the fuel tender. I think it would be a bit small. (Remember the AHL using all 4 of its fuel shuttles takes a week just to refuel from a Gas Giant. Longer if it is from a planetary water source.)

It's now finished. Piccies below. Thanks to Jedilaw from the sci-fi mesh forum for his free nurnies pack.

Crumbs it does, doesn't it!

I wanted to give it personality having decided to lose the previously debated lower plating.

Ohhh I've gone all self concious now! I think this may have to be changed....Thanks Andrew.

:Edit: I can't look at it now and not think of K9!

It's a bit like when a friend of mine told me that when he heard the line in that Elton John Song 'I guess that's why they call it the blues' which goes 'Laughing like children, living like lovers,Rolling like thunder under the covers'. He always imagined Elton farting under the duvet after a dodgy curry. I've never been able to listen to that song since without that image in my head!

Hey, bearing more than a passing resemblance to K9 is not a bad thing. I like it. I like the whole very much. Now if only you'd managed to avoid putting the thunder/fart image into everyone's head
I'm gonna have to see if you've infected my brain too next time I hear the song.
