Hello all.

After owning the T:tNE main rulebook for about ten years now, I've finally got around to making use of it.

I ran one session many, many moons ago, and wasn't overly impressed with the combat system. I realise now, having decided to run with the NE background in an upcoming Spacemaster campaign, that I have been missing out on a great setting and a lot of brilliant concepts. I guess that's why Traveller, in one incarnation or another, has been probably the pre-eminent sci-fi RPG since forever. (I must say, I think there are a few Traveller influences in Spacemaster).

Anyway, it's nice to be here.

Well, I hope SM works out for your NE campaign. I am setting up a NE campaign myself, using T20 (Just got the rulebook, finally

). I am detailing the Amdukan sector. I am reviving the Julian Protectorate (under a different name - the Katrina Pact).

Methinks that using Spacemaster as the primary ruleset sees me building quite a healthy heresy-pile.
