When I check the Starport Design 101 forum, there appear to be more than 37 replies.

There are 32 topics in that forum.

There are 574 posts spread among the 32 topics.

574 posts - 32 original posts (one for each topic) gives 542 replies.

May I ask how you arrived at the figure of 37 replies?

Thinking about the program . . .

I don’t know how complicated a space station generator should be. Personally I would add a few things but really it’s just about what you need in game terms.
In an ideal world it would let you select either random or do a CT utility’s “build a starship” mode. It might also generate a stock wire frame image as a suggestion of its shape.
To me keeping it simple is of the greatest importance. A half sheet of paper is the most it needs to be.

so your looking for a sepereate section that allows more user input?

were there other things it could have? missing?
incorrect?

ummm pictures just wont happen in any qbasic thing
i make 1. im a horrible artist unless its map
making...2. making graphics for qbasic is
very LONG....
unless of course someone
volunteers to do ascii type graphics for me..

in a cheesy way i could maybe rig up a mspaint SHELL that would open up a BMP file of a view but again i couldnt draw it someone else would have to..

thats probably gonna be after i get it as close
to 3.0 .....i have 1.1 ready now but was waiting
for any bugs to be reported...

yes i would like to keep it to 1/2 sheet if possible...that would also allow one to mark it
up or add stuff as they see fit...and maybe
give the old feel of a 3 X 5 card..
