Format of CD ROM & book

Just asking those who might communicate regularly with Marc...Is the CD ROM going to be illustrated or will it be just 500 pages of straight text. Similarly, is Marc getting Mongoose's artists to do T5 for him? If so can we expect to see overlapping art? Also how will the files on the CD ROM appear - fully searchable & indexed PDFs or Word docs?

Well, on the page at http://www.farfure.net where you can pre-order the T5 CD-ROM... it says

On This CD-ROM: the initial files for Traveller5 -- the fifth edition of Traveller. Each image and text PDF contains original page images and searchable text. All files are printable in whole or in part. Spreadsheets are Microsoft Excel format. Fonts are TTF.

So, your guess is as good as mine.

I've only seen a little art, new from Bryan Gibson, plus of course Andrew's renderings.
