Help me out, maybe?

I have a large number of remaindered copies of my book 'The Self Defence Manual' which sold for £15 until recently. I need to clear some space and also to try to make some return on the last copies. So, I'm offering these copies for £5 plus postage (that means £6.50 in the UK and probably not much different to the USA) direct from me and signed by me.

Chances are that self-protection isn't your thing... but maybe someone you know might be interested. BTW - this isn't a book about fighting and martial arts stuff. There's some of that but it's mainly about non-physical personal safety measures you can take. Ie the sort of thing that might be good to give to a relative who's off to college or something.

Anyway, perhaps you know someone who might like one as a gift. Perhaps you feel like helping me out.
Either way, I can be contacted via martin-j.dougherty (at) virgin (dot) net.

No fraking way.

I'm not talking about whether I'd help you out or not. I might have already.

I thought you just did gaming. And I live in the U.S. so I thought it was just a coincidence when I bought a book called "Special Forces Unarmed Combat Guide" a couple of months ago that the author was Martin J. Dougherty.

Very cool.

EDIT: if that Self-Defense Manual has even half of the info that the Special Forces Unarmed Combat Guide I have has - it's a sweet deal he's offering. This book I've got is packed, easy to read, descriptive artwork, etc...

Yes, I just did the book you mention. It sold out the entire first print run in 3 months - normally that takes 2+ years if it happens at all.

Oh, about that book you've got.... some of the pics were drawn from photos we took, so I'm now officially a cartoon character. Next I want my own action figure.
