However, in revised CT the model 4 computer costs MCr30, and has a capacity of 8/15, it's the model 2 that is 3/6.
Good catch; I was appearantly working down from the Model/3, rather than up.

However, this then begs the question: why did they get rid of the higher-Model/Nbis computers, I wonder...

I think they just forgot to include them ;)
The R and S letter codes are still used in High Guard second edition.
With the change in combat system, the computer model becoming more important than its CPU/storage capacity, I think it was just overlooked.

And for some reason higher bis models were never mentioned in LBB2 :(

Renard, thanks for confirming yet another myth about CT - computers don't use tapes, they use cassettes.

Cassette = tape to a certain generation, but a cassette to a more youthful person is a plastic box you plug in.
