Starships

Only Sivva-class. I am now researching Zhodani capital ships in the FFW.
Revisiting this topic: I recently bought the "Squadron Strike: Traveller" game as a PDF, and it has some more illustrations of the ships in PP:F as well as three-view printable counters. I think these should do very well as a starting off point. I'd be delighted to someday see your version of the Kefchenzh class cruiser :)

I want to know the evaluation of Power Projection Fleet.
It's using a solid game engine (GZG's Full Thrust), but even Power Projection: Escort is intended for large ships...
If you're doing major fifth frontier war or the Rebellion, it's a good way to resolve it...
The issue, tho', is that as written, it's almost useless for the scale of ships PCs would have access to when not active duty in the Imperial Navy.

Note: I like Full Thrust. I was unimpressed by PP:E and PP:F because the scale was so high; it didn't provide me any use in a roleplaying context, and for playing fleet battles outside RPG play, I prefer the Star Trek or Babylon-5 universes. Or Star Blazers (Uchū Senkan Yamato (宇宙戦艦ヤマト). There was a Full Thrust adaptation for Babylon 5.

(and, for the curious, yes, I do have Star Blazers Fleet Battles; it's slightly closer to Battlewagon than to Star Fleet Battles. But Full Thrust, with the expansion, More Thrust, clearly riffs off Star Blazers...

Is this galley on the circular science lab ship? Is the curvature that severe?
I bet it is "yes" ... to both.

Imagine the mental adjustment to someone born and raised on a Space Station (like an O'Niel Cylinder) when they visit a Planet for the first time and EVERYTHING curves the wrong way!!!! I mean, you KNEW a planet was big and they warned you about feelings of "agoraphobia" that would pass, but the HORIZON is backwards and the ground is just WRONG ... you cannot imagine it until you experience it for yourself!

Yes, it is.
When I was also drawing, I lost my sense of balance and felt sick about the big curves. I've gradually gotten used to it, but the curves are tighter than I imagined.
Of course, this galley is what we built in the model, so it's as configured.

It's a solid game for High Guard scale battles, needs some work for adventure class ship ones.

How playable, balanced, and fun is Power Projection Fleet?
Whether it's worth the challenge or not、、、
I take the time to read the English rulebook.
There are Space Battleship Yamato games in Japan, but salvos are similar in overseas games.

I like it, but I am a fan of Fullthrust.

On the "Balance" issue, it is along the lines of Book5's balance. In that it is really scenario based instead of points based.

You might want to read the base Fullthrust rules. Free here:

I have always loved Fullthrust and its sister rule sets Dirtside and Stargrunt. The idea I could use GZGs rules to play out full system invasion from fleet arrival to small unit skirmishes in key places like Space Ports was wonderful. Although we did use 15mm for the Stargrunt rather than the 25mm. But regardless, it was great to play all three at various times. :)

I'm thinking I might use these "action shots" @magmagmag is posting as photo props, snapshots framed on desks or walls around the ship, to contrast with the state the PCs find it in...

What @AlHazred wants to do is to take the interior images you have made, @magmagmag ... clip them ... and put the images into different contexts.

So instead of using the images directly as you have made them, use your images as artwork to be seen framed on walls inside a different ship.
Or crop the interior images you made and frame them as photographs to be placed on desks, making a memento of a previous time for someone.

Your interior view artworks can be cropped and pasted into other contexts on other ships. This then creates an extended backstory and history, improving immersion into the game world.

Or to put it another way, @AlHazred wants to "doujinshi" use your interior artwork images on different ships.

That way, if the Player Characters encounter an abandoned or derelict ship, your pictures can be used to show what it looked like when it was inhabited, before it was abandoned. What is now an abandoned ruin/haunted house was once a "home" for people to live and work in, as you can see from the pictures on the walls and the framed photographs found on desks.

Hope that helps. ;)
