Re. Mirfak/Mizar ... Ah yes, there was a change.
Re. capitalization, if it were for publication I'd certainly edit the thing, maybe even spell check it, plus also of course finish it! But this is for my own use, sort of well-typed up notes...

At one point in the Introduction it says the subsector is called Mirfak, and also in the ABCD table and Yuggoth write-up, but the data says Mizar. The alien species names "yuggoth" and "gaugamelan" haven't been capitalised at the point they are first mentioned.
It's quite good though.

They spawn by the thousands, replicating exponentially and despite seemingly successful attempts to eradicate - including genetic sterilization - they keep showing back up! There seems to be one prime carrier in the federation... a single vector spreading the vermin from system to system... a target for all the federation's resources...
