Best Science Fiction Theme?

The opening theme for the Original Star Trek series is still my all time favorite, and I can remember it from when the show was on the first time. After that, the opening theme to Deep Space Nine, and the Stars War Theme by Meco.

There is also the music to the movie, Forbidden Planet. Just determined that is available from the iTunes store.

There are actually lyrics for the star trek theme...

As I understand it, the theme originally had no lyrics. Roddenberry wrote the unasked for lyrics, and appended them to the music without composer Alexander Courage's knowledge. He could then claim half the royalties for the music, thus screwing Alexander Courage out of half the money he might receive.
