Welcome to the new COTI server. We've moved the Citizens to a new server. Please let us know in the COTI Website issue forum if you find any problems.
We, the systems administration staff, apologize for this unexpected outage of the boards. We have resolved the root cause of the problem and there should be no further disruptions.

*SIGH!* After waiting a year and a half for Daryen, and about a month and a half for Employee, I think it's time to open the development of Kitten-Easter and Albany to others.
Anozang, Rosemoor and Westkirk are open as well for anyone who's interested.
Yes, I want to publicly apologize for falling down on the "job". I had planned on doing Kitten-Easter, but it got lost in the other efforts I have going.
So, yes, so if Employee wants to do Kitten, it is all his.
However, if no one else takes it, I have to have my big project wrapped up shortly, and I will be able to finally revisit things.
Again, I apologize profusely for just disappearing like that. I usually do better than that.
Alright, so Kitten-Easter has (semi-)officially reverted. If anyone wishes to write it up (I would suggest someone who isn't currently tackling something), feel free.
The Sol Subsector I'm putting together could be one such pocket empire, if you assumed it was in the New Era. I've made the Subsector 3-dimensional. If you assume a 3-dimensional analog to the 2-dimensional Imperium, I don't see any problem here if you assume a general collapse and recovery of civilization. Earth's tech level has dropped some, and its planetary government has broken up into several competing nations.
